My blog is completely everything I want it to be: I don’t blog especially to get more followers; I just post whatever I want to post.

ABOUT ME

The most important thing you should know about me is that I am a Christian. I love God with all my heart, mind and soul, and nothing will ever change that; I will love Him forever, He is the most important part of my life. Doesn’t matter how much I blog about Blur or Coldplay or Radiohead or whatever; none of those bands - or anything else for that matter - mean absolutely nothing in comparison to my love for Jesus ♥

I wrote down the story of how I became a Christian (when you do that, it’s called your “testimony”). You can find it here.

I will be very happy to answer any questions anyone has about that, but I will ignore anything I get in my ask box that isn’t constructive and genuinely curious. I would also prefer if you asked off anon, but it’s not essential.

The second most important thing about me that you should know is that I like music. A lot. It means a huge deal to me. I find it endlessly fascinating and beautiful. I think it is one of God’s greatest creations.

As for the rest of me, I’m a tall, weird, socially-awkward thinker with tendencies of being a wallflower at parties and a loner for the rest of the time. I read a lot, watch a lot of movies, ask questions most people don’t think of, eat too much, enjoy staring at the starry night sky, daydream about band members twice my age, and have a very small and very precious group of friends which I rarely get to see.

My name is Gemma but people mostly call me Gem or Gemz. I was born on the 3rd of November, 1994 in England, and I’ve lived there my whole life, although I have done a lot of traveling to other countries and places and seen a lot of cool stuff. I don’t have a boyfriend and never have… I’m pretty lonely, but I have God and when all is said and done, that’s all I need. I’ll leave all my relationships with Him because I know that He’ll do what is best for me - always.

Anyway, about the rest of me… :)

I play the piano and classical guitar to grade 5, but I’m beginning to dabble in electric guitar more and more. I’ve got an Epiphone Les Paul Ultra III. It’s very nice ;D I’m inspired a lot by Graham Coxon, Jonny Greenwood, Eric Clapton and David Gilmour who I think are the four best guitar players alive today. I’m always aiming high to maybe even play half as well as they do one day.

I’ve been home-schooled practically my whole life apart from a small stint at school and a sort of private tuition that ended disastrously, but mostly I’ve taught myself everything I know out of text books. I didn’t too badly considering I practically taught myself everything… got several A*s anyway! :) I started a proper sixth form in September though so I can do my A-levels and hopefully get into a descent university. Still not sure what I want to do after that though… I’m thinking maybe I’ll go to law school, but I’m really not sure what I want to do yet.

And… well… I can’t really think of anything else to say about myself at the moment, haha! :) But I guess I should include some pictures of myself, so here’s me…
